We build PMO City because the people who run project portfolios have no time to think. Spreadsheets, presentations, and status updates take it all.
PMO City is the operating system for the Agentic PMO: one continuously maintained, governed operational state that connects execution and gives each role the interface needed to act or arbitrate, while humans remain in charge of decisions.
Our origin
For decades, the PMO kept the organization's truth in spreadsheets, status meetings, and slide decks. Every committee started by reconstructing reality. Nobody argued about the work. Everybody argued about the picture of the work.
The problem was never the discipline. The problem was that the state was maintained by hand, so it was always stale, always partial, always argued over. The PMO spent its energy compiling reports instead of exercising judgment.
AI changes the constraint. A continuously maintained, authorized, versioned picture of every project, decision, risk, dependency, and commitment is now technically possible. We call it the Living Governed State. When it exists, the PMO can govern what is changing instead of reconstructing what happened.
We wrote the open reference architecture for the Agentic PMO so the category has a definition. Then we built PMO City, its first implementation, to prove the state works in practice.
What we believe
These are not marketing values. They are the constraints the product is built on.
Reality changes between meetings. The state is updated by the work itself, through Heartbeats, not by humans reporting on it.
The machine prepares, monitors, and proposes. Humans decide. AI never takes a decision it has not been delegated, and never silently.
Every validated pattern becomes governed learning. The organization learns under its own rules, or it does not learn at all.

The open reference architecture
The Agentic PMO is not a product category we invented to sell software. It is an open reference architecture, published and maintained in the open, that any organization can read, critique, and build on.
PMO City is its first implementation. We publish the architecture first because the category needs a definition before it needs a vendor.

Its founder directs an agentic AI workforce in the open, alongside design partners. There is no sales team to impress you and no roadmap deck to distract you. The product is the proof. Every page of this site is the product speaking for itself.
We chose the name PMO City because a modern PMO is not just a function or a dashboard. It is a living operating environment. A city works because many actors, infrastructures, and rules interact coherently. The same is true of enterprise execution. PMO City is built to become that environment of collaboration between humans and AI for the new category of Agentic PMO.
